The name as a monument: "Bastille" is a Paris fortress, and the founder trained in Paris. The name stands over Bastille's own rooms, which change every few seconds: five photos, five moods, no crowded slideshow.

How it works

  1. Meet in Chelsea

At the studio or by video. Bring your date, venue and inspiration.

  2. Design the room

A concept, palette and itemized proposal, refined with you.

  3. See a sample

A mock-up arrangement before the day, so nothing surprises you.

  4. Install and strike

Our crew delivers, styles and clears every piece.

Confirm with Bastille: these four steps are my reading of their process; it answers "what happens after I inquire?"

Start with a palette

Pick the room closest to what you imagine. We'll add its colors to your inquiry.

      • Crimson candlelight: claret, velvet, candle, garnet, brass
      • Golden ballroom: gilt, blush, champagne, taper, bronze
      • Color riot: poppy, marigold, fuchsia, fern, plaster
      • Garden aisle: hydrangea, ivory, lawn, cloud, linen
      • Under the canvas: rattan, sailcloth, vine, lantern, linen

The one live thing: five palettes taken from five real Bastille rooms. Couples play with it, and every inquiry arrives with a palette already named, which makes the first consultation faster.
